Job Introduction
Desktop Support Manager
As a Desktop Support Manager with Sodexo, you'll be pivotal in the effective delivery of front-line computing across the Sodexo UK&I estate, covering desktop and laptops as well as mobile devices and tablets. You'll have the opportunity to develop the desktop services strategy, introducing new services and improving our ways of working to provide a world-class IT service to our users.

Lead the team responsible for the operational effectiveness of the organisations Desktop IT Services to ensure the highest levels of system availability
Ensure the end user compute estate is developed and maintained to the required level
Report on the performance of the desktop environment, recommending solutions for business requirements and promoting the continuous improvement of the function
Work together with Service and Infrastructure colleagues to prioritise multiple work streams and own the resource planning schedule for the Desktop Support team
Collaborate with project managers, suppliers and on-site colleagues to support IT projects, implement new updates

What you bring:
- Experience of team management in an IT environment
- Proven understanding of ITIL standards, ideally with foundation level certification or above
- Strong knowledge of a broad range of technologies, including Windows deployments and Apple Mac installations
- Experience managing projects, including budget management
- Fantastic customer focus with great communication skills
