HMP Addiewell are currently recruiting for a Deputy Head of Facilities Management. As the Deputy Head of Facilities Management, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the prison. You will lead a team responsible for maintaining the prions infrastructure, contributing to the safety and well-being of staff, inmates, and the community.

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in the strategic planning and execution of facility management activities.
  • Oversee maintenance, repair, and construction projects within the prison.
  • Manage a team of skilled facility technicians and conduct quality checks of works undertaken.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. Maintaining an accurate record of all maintenance and repairs carried out.
  • Collaborate with the other prison departments to support operational needs.

The Ideal Candidate

 

  • Proven experience of facility management in a leadership role.
  • BIFM level 4 qualification or equivalent.
  • IOSH level 2 and extensive knowledge of method statements, risk assessment, safe systems of work, building, electrical and mechanical regulations.
  • Experience working in a 24/365 operational environment would be an advantage.

Package Description

£45,000 - £50,000
