Job Introduction
As a Data Team Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of purchasing master data within our internal systems, ensuring reliable data for internal stakeholders, vendors, and our Food Management System.
To be successful in this role you will be a meticulous problem-solver and a driving force behind accurate data management.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather accurate data for system input and rebate agreements, adhering to timelines.
- Maintain purchasing master data in SAP, Product Database, Informatica, and FMS, ensuring accuracy through monthly and quarterly data cleanses.
- Resolve queries from stakeholders and vendors, escalating when necessary, to maintain smooth data operations.
- Play a key role in system enhancements, including SAP patch testing and user acceptance testing, to ensure seamless functionality.
- Support the introduction of new MDM & Rebate Collection Systems and assist with decommissioning outdated systems.
- Manage the PQQ process and ensure timely population of data, demonstrating compliance with Sodexo's policies.
- Conduct risk assessments, supplier audits, and generate risk reports to uphold safety and compliance standards.
What you bring:
- GCSEs C Grades (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English Language.
- Proficiency in using application systems and demonstrated administration experience in a dynamic environment.
- Basic Excel skills and familiarity with other MS Office packages.
- Experience working with SAP master data (desirable) and system UAT exposure (desirable).
- Ability to create and work with processes and user guides.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong influencing abilities.
- Effective team player with the capacity to manage prioritized workloads independently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business demands, paired with a strong drive for continuous improvement.
