Job Introduction
Data Architect
As a Data Architect with Sodexo, you'll be pivotal in helping our business benefit from the power of data, working to better understand and support our customers. You'll use your expertise to create a new data strategy for the Sodexo UK&I business, which will include our move to cloud project to utilise cutting-edge Microsoft Azure data technologies. In this greenfield environment you'll enjoy the freedom to set up new architecture, tools and practices, working with senior stakeholders across the organisation toaid our success.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement a new data strategy to support key goals aligned with our business and technology roadmaps
- Build a framework of principles to safeguard data integrity and ensure artefacts are maintained properly
- Work together with our wider IT team so data security is fully embedded, and third party solutions support our enterprise data architecture
- Build relationships with the IT Leadership Team, wider business management, and the global IT & Data teams to promote communication and learning around data practices
What you bring:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect driving strategy around data platform and analytics solutions
- Demonstrable experience with the Microsoft technology stack - Microsoft Azure BI, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, PowerBI, SQL Server etc.
- The ability to create documentation across the data lifecycle
- Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical people of all levels, with a customer focus and a desire to provide the best solutions
- The ability to obtain UK SC clearance
