Job Introduction

As a Cook at Sodexo in Stourport High School, you are also a team player and food waste saver. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. What you’ll do: 

  • Provide the highest quality of food service to customers at all times 

  • Prepare and cook orders requiring short and broader preparation time 

  • Serve customers at an a la carte or operate a grill station 

  • Reads food order or receives verbal instructions on food required by patrons 

  • Follows basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing meals 

  • Operate a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients   

What you bring: 

  • Highly professional manner with honesty and ethics   

  • Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and cash-handling procedures  

  • Communicate respectfully and professionally with all coworkers, vendor representatives, customers, and clients 

  • Good working knowledge of food preparation 

  • High standard for work areas and appearance

Package Description

  • 30 hours per week
  • £10.75 per hour
  • Monday - Friday 
  • Full protective uniform supplied
