Cook / Kitchen Assistant
Job Introduction
Sodexo Live! at Newcastle United Football Club are currently looking to add to our casual Cooks and Kitchen Assistant Retail Catering team here at St. James' Park to deliver a world class guest experience. Working in a busy kitchen unit, we are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team.
Key dates that we are looking for support are the following:
Saturday 17th December
Wednesday 21st December
Saturday 31st December
Sunday 15th January

Role Responsibility
- Check opening stock on nominated kiosks record on kiosk stock sheet
- Record all food temperatures during service
- Ensure all food items are served at the correct temperature, presented to a continual high standard to the customer
- Adhere to food hygiene, allergen and food safety guidelines
- Ensuring correct and hygiene handling (processing) of food items is maintained
- To partake in any training as required by both legislation and the Company
- Cook all food in line with company standards and regulations to meet demands of units
- Check catering outlets at end of service for cleanliness and complete any subsequent cleaning required
- Carry out random temperature checks ensure records are maintained
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience within a retail catering or quick service setting
- Cooking and kitchen experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Being friendly yet professional
- Being a team player with an ability to resolve conflict and take criticism
- Good attention to detail and punctuality
- Being proactive is key
All individuals must work in complete adherence to the company procedures set by Sodexo Live! and Newcastle United.
