Job Introduction

Control Room Officers at Sodexo are also protectors and peace-of-mind providers. You will ensure the safety of our staff, their buildings and assets. What you’ll do:

Assist in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees
Monitoring of CCTV, Access Control and other protective systems 
Act as a first line response to activations & incidents or fault reporting 
Log and transfer calls, relay messages and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors and staff
Planning and implementation of forward scheduling / reaction to short notice cover requirements for security officers
Ensure scheduling of security rotas for Sodexo sites is implemented
Monitor & supervise the delivery of customer support requests ensuring deadlines are met
Ensure cleanliness standards are met

What you bring:

Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities 
Excellent computer skills required
Excellent communication and awareness skills
Experience in working in a similar role is a must
Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures

4 days/nights on, 4 days/nights off
£10.90 per hour
