Contract Manager
Job Introduction
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated Contract Manager to lead the hard and soft facilities services team at our PayPal sites at Ballycoolin, Dublin and Dundalk.
With at least 3 years previous experience in either leading or managing a competent and well experienced team of Technicians (HVAC/Electrical/Building Fabric) and Soft Services (Catering/Cleaning/Mailroom) professionals, the ideal candidate will be based in the Dublin or Louth area.
You must also be able to demonstrate a qualification in either Facilities Management or related discipline to at least Level 8 NVQ or equivalent.
Managing the delivery of capital expenditure projects across the PayPal estate will also form part of your role.
Through three experienced service leads reporting directly into you (Technical, Soft Services and Catering) you will provide strategic leadership to the site-based teams and be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all services lines for our PayPal clients.
You will work with our senior client team to implement and maintain business improvement, process standardisation and continuous improvement across all areas.
You will ensure that all services are delivered in line with agreed contract KPI’s and will have responsibility for the financial performance of the contract through preparation and presentation of detailed month-end accounts.
You will provide thought leadership on all aspects of IFM service delivery including Project Management and act as an SME for service delivery of a total IFM offer.
You will be an ambassador for embedding PayPal and Sodexo culture, ensuring Vested behaviours are displayed by all members of the team.
You will Pro- actively develop and build the client relationships at both sites.
You will be an integral part of the Sodexo Senior Technical Family and will actively work across the Ireland region as part of our subject matter expert network.
Role Responsibility
- Responsible for operational problem resolution and issue escalation.
- Measure SLA, KPI, CPI service standards against the agreed and obligated levels.
- Implementation of new innovations as required.
- Be an informed and authoritative point of contact for the key stakeholders at sites(s) to address any technical, performance or operational issues.
- Identify and implement opportunities for business growth.
- Ensure forecasts are completed and track performance against budget taking appropriate actions to manage P&L in line with contract.
- Manage the P&L to maximize profit and control of costs to ensure budgets are met.
- Complete site walks and surveys of existing assets to formulate a Forward Maintenance Planner for Capex and condition reports of assets.
- Help in carrying out in depth reviews and reports of the sites(s) finances at the end of each period and ensure action plans are put in place as required.
- Drive consistency across all site(s) and share best practice with others within the contract portfolio.
- Full understanding of contractual guiding principles applicable to site(s) under agreement and delivery of content to site(s).
The Ideal Candidate
Essential
- Experience in Project / TFM management of medium to small multi service sites
- Experience in managing large to Medium technical Projects.
- Experience of mainly Technical or Hard FM but also soft service contracts.
- Exceptional client relationship management skills
- Manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and employees at all level.
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment.
- Challenges the status Quo, innovative, willingness with a ‘can do & improve’ attitude.
