Concierge Host

Job Introduction

The purpose of the Concierge role in London EC4M 5SB is to support the client brand by providing a highly efficient and professional guest service experience to the client business.  Further, to ensure that requests for all meeting room reservations, hospitality events and training are processed and overseen with accuracy and attention to detail so that both internal and external clients are provided with an excellent and memorable experience from start to finish. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Providing our clients and guests with a professional, warm and welcoming service 

  • Preparing the client floor for the day, regularly checking meeting rooms are ready to be used 

  • Overseeing ordering and delivery of hospitality to all meetings and events 

  • Supporting Reception team in booking meeting rooms and events on-line and via telephone 

  • Answering and operating client switchboard calls 

  • Booking hospitality events and liaising with hospitality provider to place orders  

  • Ordering hospitality consumables from Sodexo nominated suppliers 

  • Basic troubleshooting of issues with meeting room equipment and escalating to client support team when required 

  • Logging and closing off tasks on client facilities helpdesk portal 

  • Liaising with relevant support teams to clear away and set-up between meetings 

  • Working closely with client security management to support visitor and staff access requirement when necessary 

  • Liaising with the building’s reception team to announce, meet and greet external guests 

  • Supporting hospitality teams through busy periods as required 

  • Logging Facilities incidents on Client Helpdesk Portal 

  • First aider (full training provided) 

  • Working Knowledge of Client and Sodexo SharePoint space, and other software packages that support the business function  

What you bring:  

  • Ability to multi skill and make decision in a fast-paced environment when necessary 

  • Knowledge and experience with Office 365, Outlook and Sharepoint

  • Works well within a small team 

  • Attention to detail 

  • Effective communication 

  • Excellent telephone etiquette 

  • Excellent time management  

  • Good prioritisation skills 

  • Happy to use initiative 

  • Ability to work flexible shifts
