Compliance and Contracts Manager

Job Introduction

As we continue to grow our team at the University of Greenwich site, we are now keen to speak with experienced Contracts and Compliance Managers to join us on a permanent basis. 

You’ll assist the management team in mitigating risk by understanding and supporting the delivery of contract obligations to service specifications, performance standards as well as the payment mechanism. 

Another important part of the role will to be manage our sub-contractor population, looking specifically at relationship management and performance. You will need to be a strong communicator and able to build relationships with the client, your colleagues and the wider Sodexo team.

You will be data driven and able to extract and manipulate data at hand to understand root cause of non-compliance.

Role Responsibility

  • Support the Head of Commercial and Performance in day-to-day contract administration
  • Carry out a programme of internal auditing to monitor compliance with all contractual obligations, and local operating procedures.
  • Liaise with Service Delivery Managers on a daily business ensuring key performance indicators are met and performance monitoring schedules are adhered to.
  • Analyse and interpret relevant data and take the lead in producing monthly reports to meet contractual requirements
  • Manage the sub-contractor relationships and performance.
  • Manage the on-site activity of the nominated sub-contractors
  • Extract and manipulate relevant data from CAFM system into formats required for reports as required
  • Liaise with the Sodexo management team at the University of Greenwich in the production of the reports
  • Respond to queries, amend data and re-issue reporting packs following monthly performance review meetings
  • Produce regular reports (daily, weekly and monthly) for contract teams and the client as required ensuring these are accurate prior to submission
  • Work closely with the senior management team to develop and enhance the quality of reporting processes
  • Working with management to ensure all daily, weekly and monthly audits are provided by the contract teams in a timely fashion
  • Build and amend reports and data dashboards as required to meet business needs and contractual processes
  • Support contract teams in the production of customer satisfaction surveys and the analysis/reporting of responses

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in the use of software packages to extract, manipulate, report and present data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and professional
  • An understanding of FM contracts (ideally NEC 4), key performance indicators and deliverables
  • Commercial awareness
  • The proven ability to work under pressure and deal with challenging situations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
