Compliance Manager
Job Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic individual who will ensure compliant IFM services are delivered across our prestigious client's UK & Ireland portfolio.
In this critical role, you will serve as Compliance Manager within our Compliance, Risk and Quality Management function. You will have the responsibility for coordinating compliance activities with relevant legislative and company standards across the contract, monitoring internal control mechanisms to capture measurement of KPIs, CPIs, statutory, legislative and company compliance.

Main Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong internal compliance environment by being “the conduit” between all internal Sodexo stakeholders, SME’s, operational & business improvement teams ensuring the contract is ‘audit ready’ at all times
- Ensure that the central hub team carry out their duties effectively to support the delivery of services
- Facilitate Governance Tier 1 and Tier 2 meetings to assess the portfolio's performance and track any escalations
- Facilitate Risk Management internal meetings and compiling a Risk Register for the portfolio and supporting Performance Manager with the maintenance and management of this
- Review internal policies and procedures for compliance to ensure suitability and recommends amendments as appropriate
- Playing a lead role in the development, drafting and implementation of the Compliance, delivering oversight and assurance work to standards and timescales
- Identifying new legislation, regulatory focus and emerging risks which will impact on risk and compliance within the business by participating in Sodexo technical community, attending appropriate internal and external training and liaising with contract and central SMEs
- Ensuring Sodexo’s statutory, contractual and Sodexo compliance principles are understood by all internal client/ stakeholders by attracting and developing a community of compliance champions embedded across the contract
- Working constructively with colleagues in Health & Safety, Quality Management and Compliance team on all matters, relating to compliance, regulatory and operating risk to support delivery of the compliance across client portfolio

The Ideal Candidate
You will be a highly proactive and driven professional with a solid background in compliance working within the facilities management industry. The ability to work in a partnership and collaborative way with stakeholders at all levels to deliver the optimum service to our client is essential.
You will also have:
- Knowledge of methods and techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of projects e.g. work breakdown structures
- A thorough understanding and experience with Maximo CAFM system
- A working knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of risk management: the identification, assessment, and management of risks, which could result in time or cost over-runs, or failure to deliver products which are fit for purpose
- A proficiency with business analysis techniques: techniques which help in modelling and understanding a business and its operation
- A proficiency in progress reporting: methods and techniques for reporting progress
- A knowledge of methods and techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of projects e.g. work breakdown structures
- The ability to influence effectively across multiple internal leaders, stakeholders, and teams
- The ability to plan and achieve results in difficult situations and in limited timeframe
Remuneration
Salary £38.000-£40.000
