We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Finance Assistant to support financial operations across our portfolio. This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine strong processing skills with commercial insight, supporting site teams to drive financial performance and embed robust control.

What You'll Do:
Support day-to-day financial processes, including purchase invoices, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
Manage weekly payroll using the UDC system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Work with site managers and operational teams to monitor expenditure, highlight variances and challenge overspends
Support monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets, ensuring all revenue and costs are correctly captured
Partner with sales teams to ensure events are invoiced, paid and accounted for accurately
Assist in debt collection and cash management, maintaining strong internal and external relationships
Support stock checks, rotas and site-level financial processes to keep operations running smoothly
Build strong relationships with operational teams, helping to embed commercial focus and accountability
What You Bring:
Strong Excel and variance analysis skills
Experience in financial operations (payroll, reconciliations, purchase ledger, management accounts)
Knowledge of SAP, Eprophit, Priava or similar systems (desirable)
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work confidently at all levels
Flexibility to travel across sites within Scotland
Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (desirable)
Experience in hospitality, retail, or contract catering (desirable)
