Clinical Team Leader
Job Introduction
HMP Bronzefield are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Team Leader.
This key role will be to work as a lead clinician alongside the Clinical Services Manger, Healthcare Manager and the rest of the Prison to ensure a complete high quality clinical care treatment package is delivered and accessible to all patients in line with Sodexo Justice Service’s values and beliefs and develop and promote the Healthcare Service. The purpose of this role is to provide leadership and management to the nursing team to ensure a high standard of patient care, providing supervisor and support where appropriate.
Working as part of the mutli-disciplinary team, you will be the named nurse for one of the houseblocks in the prison. In conjunction with team leaders, you will be responsible for setting, monitoring and maintaining high standards of care in your houseblock.
HMP/YOI Bronzefield is a closed local prison serving courts across the South of England. Our mission is to deliver quality of life services which make a meaningful difference to women in the criminal justice system by supporting them to change their lives for the better. To achieve this we focus on providing needs-based services and programmes to rehabilitate and improve the well-being of our women.
We house up to 572 women (approximately 14.5% of the national female prison population). The women in our custody have a diverse and complex set of needs and range from mothers and babies, young offenders, life and long term sentenced women, short to mid-term sentenced women, foreign nationals and women on remand.

Role Responsibility
- Working clinically as part of the primary care team within NMC code of conduct, performance and ethics. Lead and work effectively with the primary care team.
- Providing day to day clinical management support to registered nurses, providing clinical supervision to junior members of the team. Managing staffing resources to meet service delivery, developing and managing performance of team. Recruitment and selection of new team members.
- Maintaining medical records and ensure accurate records are maintained. Conducting clinical audits.
- Ensuring staff compliance with all health and safety policies, conducting training and communicating new policies and procedures to staff.

Package Description
Salary £41,658.43 per annum + London weighting (£3,453 per annum)

Post holders will be subjected to an advanced DBS check, a prison security check (level 2) prior to being employed.
The role will be based within the prison at HMP Bronzefield, Woodthorpe Road, Staines, Middlesex, TW15 3JZ.
