Client Master Data - Business Partner
Job Introduction
Sodexo are currently recruiting for 4 experienced Client Master Data Business Partner’s to be based from offices in Salford Quays. The role will require a highly motivated & well-organised individual who displays excellent Interpersonal skills, working in a MDM team of 5-6, demonstrating the ability to foster excellent working relationships with the Master Data champions & business managers. Responsibilities will require attention to detail; hands on experience with SAP or other ERP applications is essential. The Master Data Management team will be the gatekeepers of all client Master Data quality. The role will administer data quality and integrity checks on in excess of 10,000 clients and multiple individual contracts per client per annum.
Role Responsibility
- Maintain client data quality relating to all client master data for the Segments allocated to you – including but not limited to general ledger coding, billing details, payment terms.
- Work closely as a Business Partner with the segment under your remit; liaising with Account Managers & Director and the segment Master Data champions.
- Take an active role in the delivery of Master Data management processes, through daily interaction with business contact, this could involve attending Account Manager or Director meetings on a periodic basis.
- Working with the MDM Manager & team members to extraction, cleansing and reporting necessary to satisfy all requirements and oversee data corrections when required.
- Ensure through clear process control, the maintenance of master data including additions, deletions & modifications.
- Play an active role in ensuring segment compliance to process controls; including production of/ or input to the preparation of MDM statistical data to measure performance both inward & outward facing.
- Ensure that all MDM SLA’s are adhered to, ensure that as a team the is cross segment knowledge sharing to enable coverage for holiday / sickness
- Take a proactive approach to cleansing data in your allocated segments; resolving data related issues through strong skills in root cause analysis.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Develop stakeholder relationships across the Segments allocated to you, fostering a closer working relationship through business partnering with all levels of business contact.
- Gain trust & confidence from your stakeholders around performance timing & delivery
- Ensure appropriate & pro-active communication channels are in place
The Ideal Candidate
Essential
- Demonstrable experience in Master Data Management or Data Quality area
- Demonstrable experience working on MDM tool such as SAP, Oracle ( SAP is desirable)
- Experience of working within Order to Cash environment
- Pro-active, responsive and action orientated
- Ability to work in a constantly changing process environment
- Ability to work with & Influence Segment contacts
- Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders within Allocated Segments
- Strong Interpersonal / people skills
Desirable
- Previous Shared Service Centre experience
- Experience working in a continuous improvement environment
- General understanding of financial disciplines
