Location: Guinness Open Gate Brewery London, Mercers Way, Covent Garden, London
Working pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts (42 hours per week)
Hourly rate: £16.30
Contract type: Permanent

Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for four Cleaning Supervisors to join our team at the brand-new Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Covent Garden. This is a flagship site for Diageo and Sodexo, combining high footfall public areas, extended trading hours, and exacting cleanliness standards. Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily cleaning operations in high-traffic public areas, including restrooms and communal spaces

  • Manage shift teams and ensure adherence to scheduled rotas (early and late shifts)

  • Maintain accurate compliance documentation and support audits

  • Ensure COSHH standards are upheld across all cleaning processes

  • Champion excellent customer service and uphold site presentation standards

  • Monitor and support team performance, conduct regular checks, and escalate issues when necessary

  • Carry out compliance checks and use site-specific software to log inspections and audits

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory role within a public or hospitality setting

  • Strong understanding of COSHH, cleaning compliance standards, and audit procedures

  • Competent with digital compliance systems (training provided)

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • Able to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including early mornings and evenings
