Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Cleaning Operative working within a food manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

As a Cleaning Operative you will be responsible for:

Working within a multi-skilled Cleaning Team covering a variety of cleaning tasks in a number of different types of production environments, both inside and outside. The tasks will include the use of Industrial floor machines and cleaning chemicals.
Various other tasks to include but not restricted to litter picking, spillage clearance, janitorial cleaning, working at heights and drain cleaning.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

Previous cleaning experience within an industrial environment
Knowledge of working at heights
Good communication skills
Ability to demonstrate great teamwork skills
Proven ability to work off own initiative and time management skills
Knowledge of Health and Safety

Package Description

Manual handling duties include collecting and removal of rubbish & post.

Use of general cleaning machines.

Cleaning of general office areas, labs, workshops & production areas.

High level cleaning is also required.

Some outside workis required including litter picking & snow clearning.

Weekend overtimes as required.
