Cleaning Manager

Cleaning Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Pay: £29,000 - £30,000 & range of excellent employee benefits
Onsite – Monday-Friday

Sodexo has a great opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Manager to join our established team working with our clients based in Milton Keynes.

Joining our team at their large production facility, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the cleaning operations to the high standards laid out in the cleaning scope of works and ensure the production areas are compliant with GMP and food safety regulations at all times.

The Cleaning Manager will have strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills, especially with quality assurance as there are several key stakeholders that need to be managed, all with different drivers and changing demands.

You will need to liaise with shift leads to plan cleaning activities around production breaks & shutdowns as well as managing the Sodexo safety management system and staff mandatory training, ensuring complete compliance and be audit ready at all times.

About You 
Experience and knowledge requirement for this role: 
  • At least 2/3 years’ experience in a similar leadership role
  • Managing complex cleaning tasks and rotas, client relationships and the health and safety of the team and operation
  • Overseeing cleaning operations of facilities including communal areas, offices, locker rooms, toilets, canteens etc
  • Working knowledge of COSHH practices
  • Experience with floor scrubbing machines
  • Creating and managing cleaning schedules
  • Performance management
