Shell Centre, 20 York Road, London SE1 7NA
£16.60 per hour | 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Flexibility required for occasional evenings and weekends based on business needs

Join Sodexo’s talented culinary team at the prestigious Shell Centre in Central London. We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to bring creativity, consistency, and high standards to our dynamic kitchen.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with experience in high-end hospitality or hotel kitchens to work in a collaborative, professional environment—while enjoying the benefits of a weekday schedule and the support of a global organisation.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare and deliver consistently high-quality dishes with attention to detail and presentation

  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with the smooth running of kitchen operations

  • Manage your section effectively, including mise en place and service

  • Maintain food hygiene and safety standards across all processes

  • Contribute to menu planning and daily specials

  • Mentor and assist junior team members

  • Monitor stock levels and minimise waste

  • Basic pastry and dessert knowledge is desirable—with opportunities to develop your skills further

What we’re looking for:

  • 2–3 years’ experience as a CDP, or strong Commis Chef experience in high-end or fine-dining environments

  • Previous work in 4- or 5-star hotels or restaurants is preferred

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

  • Food Safety Level 2 qualification (or higher desirable)

  • Reliable, flexible, and professional approach

  • Right to work in the UK
