Job Introduction

As a Chef Manager at Irving Oil with Sodexo, your role is pivotal in planning, organising, coordinating, controlling, motivating, and training the catering team to achieve business objectives. What you’ll do:

Ensure financial aspects of catering/facilities operations are managed within agreed guidelines.
Maintain premises cleanliness and safe working practices.
Control expenditure, including payment of wages, overtime, and other employee-related costs.
Represent Sodexo at client meetings as required.
Maintain standards in accordance with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
Recruit, manage, train, motivate, and appraise staff to promote good employee relations.
Maintain training records and conduct bi-monthly team briefing meetings.
Manage all Health and Safety issues effectively.
Develop menu cycles in conjunction with the Catering Team.
Ensure Allergen folders are up to date for Catering services site-wide.

What you bring:

Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
Good financial acumen and front of house skills.
CIEH & IOSH Qualifications.
Excellent Client Management skills.
Two to three years of leadership and supervisory experience preferred.
