As a Chef Manager at Irving Oil with Sodexo, your role is pivotal in planning, organising, coordinating, controlling, motivating, and training the catering team to achieve business objectives. What you’ll do:
- Ensure financial aspects of catering/facilities operations are managed within agreed guidelines.
- Maintain premises cleanliness and safe working practices.
- Control expenditure, including payment of wages, overtime, and other employee-related costs.
- Represent Sodexo at client meetings as required.
- Maintain standards in accordance with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
- Recruit, manage, train, motivate, and appraise staff to promote good employee relations.
- Maintain training records and conduct bi-monthly team briefing meetings.
- Manage all Health and Safety issues effectively.
- Develop menu cycles in conjunction with the Catering Team.
- Ensure Allergen folders are up to date for Catering services site-wide.
What you bring:
- Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Good financial acumen and front of house skills.
- CIEH & IOSH Qualifications.
- Excellent Client Management skills.
- Two to three years of leadership and supervisory experience preferred.
