Catering Supervisor

Package Description

  • 40 hours per week 
  • £13.45 per hour

What you’ll do: 

  • Be a vital part of the Front of house operation by supervising and ensuring our restaurant and coffee bar runs smoothly and efficiently on a day to day basis
  • Provide excellent customer service with a dedicated and helpful approach 
  • Be responsible for the opening and closing of the restaurant and coffee bar, ensuring all procedures are followed according to company policy.
  • Manage stock inventory effectively
  • Use innovation and upselling skills to engage the team to drive sales in line with targets
  • Work with the wider catering team in order to provide excellent customer service
  • Adhere to all H&S regulations (Such as food safety, allergen awareness, COSHH and HACCP regulations.)
  • Improve the quality of life for those we are serving

What you bring: 

 

  • · You will be able to comply with all Company & client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your work place.
  • · You will ensure that all relevant checklists have been completed, adhered to and updated as required.
  • · You will ensure that sufficient staffing levels are in place at all times to ensure that the retail areas run as smoothly as possible
  • · Experience with Cash Reconciliation
  • · You can ensure high standards of personal performance, hygiene, appearance and cleanliness at all times
  • · You can communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite, efficient, caring and friendly service to customers and clients in all areas of service, which Sodexo provide.
  • · You will participate in any necessary training and team meetings as required to complete job responsibilities to the Company’s and Client’s standards e.g. health & safety, food hygiene.
  • · You can work as a team to promote harmonious working relationships within the Sodexo team
  • · Experience with reporting customer complaints or compliments and taking some remedial action if at all possible.
  • · You will report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage, unfit food, or other irregularities and take such or advice as may be appropriate.
  • · You can comply with all Sodexo Company policies/procedures and client site rules and regulations
