Salary: £12.60 per hour
Contract type: Fixed-term (6 months)
Working hours: 22.5 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 9:00am–2:00pm, Friday 9:00am–11:30am)

About the Role
We are currently seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team at Diageo Leven on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a great opportunity to be part of a busy and friendly catering environment where you’ll play a key role in delivering a great service to our customers and clients.

You’ll be involved in a variety of kitchen and service duties such as food preparation, counter service, dishwashing and till operation. Working as part of a small team, you’ll help ensure the catering area runs smoothly and maintains the high standards expected by both Sodexo and our client.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages

  • Serve customers in a polite and efficient manner

  • Operate the till and handle payments accurately

  • Maintain cleanliness in food service and dishwashing areas

  • Ensure health, safety, and hygiene procedures are followed at all times

  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet service demands

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in a busy catering environment

  • Comfortable working at a fast pace and under pressure

  • Reliable with a good eye for detail

  • Confident using a till and handling money

  • Positive attitude and team-focused approach

  • Flexible and willing to take on varied tasks as needed

Pre-employment Requirements

  • Candidates must complete a screening form, provide Right to Work documentation, and complete a Helux induction before accessing the site.
