Job Introduction
Catering Assistant – Fixed Term (6 months)
Location: Diageo, Leven Banbeath Industrial Estate, Leven, Fife, Scotland
Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 9am–2pm, Friday 9am–11.30am
Hourly Rate: £12.60
Are you passionate about food and delivering excellent customer service? Do you thrive in a busy kitchen environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our team at Diageo Leven on a 6-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
You’ll play a vital role supporting the Head Chef in preparing and serving meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and ensuring a smooth operation of the catering service.
What you’ll do:
Assist with food preparation and basic cooking duties
Serve food to customers courteously and professionally
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas
Follow health and safety procedures, including food hygiene standards
Support the wider catering team as required
What you bring:
A positive and proactive attitude
Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to undergo all pre-employment checks (screening form, RTW check, and Helux induction)
