🍽️ Catering Assistant (Maternity Cover from18th August 2025 to 13th May 2026) – Join Our Supportive Team at The Edinburgh Academy Junior School!
Location: 10 Arboretum Road, Edinburgh, EH3 5PL
Contract: Fixed-term (Maternity Cover) – 9 months
Hours: 25 per week | Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 2.30pm
Pay: ÂŁ12.21 per hour

👨‍🍳 What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assisting with preparing nutritious and appealing meals for pupils and staff

  • Presenting food beautifully and efficiently in our dining areas

  • Supporting kitchen hygiene and cleanliness to the highest standards

  • Unloading supplies and helping with stock organisation

  • Following all food safety and health & safety guidelines

  • Working as part of a tight-knit, friendly team where everyone contributes

👤 What You’ll Bring:

  • A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude

  • Great timekeeping and a proactive work ethic

  • An eye for detail and care in how food is presented and served

  • Previous kitchen experience is a bonus, but not essential – full training provided!
