Job Introduction

Catering Assistant
Location: Diageo Leven, Banbeath Industrial Estate, KY8 5HD
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM

As a Catering Assistant at Sodexo in Diageo Leven (Hall 3 Catering), you are also a team player and an essential part of delivering great food and service. Your role is key in ensuring customers enjoy a high-quality dining experience in a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment.

What you’ll do:

Assist with food preparation and serving to ensure a high standard of presentation and hygiene
Keep the kitchen, serving areas, and dining spaces clean and tidy
Operate till systems and handle cash transactions (if required)
Help with stock management, including receiving and storing deliveries
Provide excellent customer service to ensure a great dining experience

What you bring:

A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team
Experience in a catering or food service role (preferred but not essential)
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A commitment to hygiene and food safety standards
Strong customer service skills
