Catering Assistant
Job Introduction
As a Food Service Assistant at Sodexo in Sullom Voe Terminal, Shetland, you’ll help with the preparation and serving of our vibrant menu whilst ensuring all working areas are clean and tidy. Setting up for our executive events and ensuring a high standard of service is key, in this role. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:
- Assist in setup and serving of hot and/or cold foods
- Clean and sanitise equipment and workstations
- Set up and breakdown of service stations
- Interact with clients, upholding that Sodexo 5* Service
What you bring:
- A passion for providing nutritious and delicious meals
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others
- Basic food-handling skills is desirable but a great attitude and willingness to learn also ticks the box
- Ability to work in a standing position for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours)

- 73 Hours per week 3 weeks on 3 weeks off
- £11.92per hour
- Accommodation provided.
- Transportation from Aberdeen
Please note that because this employment is full-time, it is not suited for a student visa limited to 20 hours of work during term time.
