Casual Retail Team Leader at Newcastle United Football Club

Job Introduction

Sodexo Live! are currently looking to add to our casual Retail Catering team at St. James' Park to deliver a world class guest experience. We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals to join our team.

Job responsibilities

Managing stock and cash
Lead and support your team throughout the shift,
Hygiene and Food Safety
Monitor the service of all alcohol beverages
Welcoming guests, taking orders and serving beverages to guests
Care about customer satisfaction and deliver the optimal client service experience
Serving guests in a friendly, welcoming and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Help answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage choices and related items
Check opening stock on nominated catering outlet
Document any alterations on Team Leaders stock sheet (sign your name)
Ensure the stand manager checks and signs all relevant documentation
Brief all your Catering Team prior to service
Look after and support your team throughout the shift, reporting any incidents to senior management and/or HR
Complete stock sheets
Carry out stock checks at designated times
Check catering outlet at end of service for cleanliness and ensuring any subsequent cleaning required is completed
Any other duty that is of a reasonable request

What we are looking for

Excellent verbal communication skills
Being friendly yet professional
Being a team player with an ability to resolve conflict and take criticism
Good attention to detail and punctuality
Being proactive is key
Experience within a hospitality, catering or bar setting
Experience leading a team

All individuals must work in complete adherence to the company procedures set by Sodexo Live! and Newcastle United.
