Casual Hospitality Event Staff for Heritage Portfolio

Job Introduction

Heritage Portfolio has an established reputation for creating stylish, memorable, and glamorous events across Scotland. As a multi-award-winning organisation, we have fantastic opportunities throughout our business for talented and passionate individuals.

As part of our front of house events team, you will be delivering outstanding service in some of Edinburgh’s best venues including The National Museum of Scotland, the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Musselburgh Racecourse & The Palace of Holyrood House. No two days are the same; we cater for weddings, corporate events, family celebrations, race days and so much more.

Our work is flexible which means you can book in for as much or as little as you want each week; this works well for those with other commitments (e.g. university classes). It’s also a great way to meet like-minded people, who often become friends for life. We have a variety of weekday and weekend events; the minimum shift length is 4 hours.

Set up and clear down of the venue
Welcoming guests
Serving food & drinks
Bar service
Clearing down the venue at the end of the event

The Ideal Candidate

Applicants must be aged 18 or over
Previous experience in hospitality is beneficial, but not essential. We hire based on personality and passion, so no previous hospitality experience is required. We can teach you everything you need to know.

Heritage Portfolio is the sub-segment of Sodexo Live! that produces outstanding catering and event services for our cultural destinations. These include exceptional “in-house” café services in some of Britain’s leading visitor attractions such as V&A Dundee, The Signet Library, The Scottish National Gallery, private parties and dining, weddings and prestigious events including The Queen’s annual Royal Garden Party for which we are honoured to have received a Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen as Supplier of Catering Services.
