Cafe and Retail Duty Manager

Job Introduction

We have an excellent opportunity to join our team based at the Emirates Aviation Experience as the Café and Retail Duty Manager. As the Duty Manager, you will assist the Site Manager with the day to day operation of the experience and manage the day-to-day operations of the café and to provide administrative support. You will also provide additional supervision of front-line team and training employees on drinks and food preparation and proper use of coffee equipment.

Role Responsibility

• Managing day-to-day operations of the café (responsible for service delivery, stock management, ordering and development of the café operation and delivery of the retail outlet)
• Administrate day to day financial transactions and reports, using E-Prophit and ensure that reconciliation,
• Change orders and banking are carried out in compliance with procedures.
• Manage a team of exhibition assistants, including performance management, HR administration, scheduling and training.
• Duty Management role within the exhibition to ensure smooth running of the operation, including opening and closing of site, with key holding and cashing up responsibilities.
• Decision making in the absence of the Site Manager

The Ideal Candidate

• At least 2 years’ experience in a public attraction service environment / Cafe Manager
• Experience of managing frontline teams and cash handling
• Experience of electronic trading systems, including E-Prophit
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
• Foundation Certificate in Food Safety and Health and Safety

Package Description

Up to £26,000 depending on experience + benefits
