Cafe Supervisor
Job Introduction
As a Cafe Supervisor at Sodexo in 1 Ruskin Square, Croydon, CR0 2WF. You will supervise a small team of catering operatives and deliver a specific standard of food service to ensure that customers receive a pleasant and friendly experience.
What you’ll do:
- Undertake all required training in relation to all aspects of the catering service delivered to the client, as requested.
- Ensure that all requirements in relation to COSHH, HACCP and Food Hygiene are adhered to, as specified by the FOH manager
- Conduct all required training with catering operatives in relation to operational/ legal / client / food and beverage offer requirements
- Ensure that all catering operatives adhere to the catering codes of practices
- To deliver staff team briefings, as required
- To complete all administration, as specified by the FOH manager
- To manage the ordering and distribution of catering consumables and stocktakes
- To undertake audits in relation to service delivery / offer compliance, as requested.
- To stand in for the catering manager in his/her absence
- To manage all risk assessments and allergy files
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a similar environment is essential
- Natural creative and innovative flair with a genuine love of food and an eye for detail
- Excellent management skills, with a desire to share knowledge and best practises
- Industry awareness from high street to high end cafes, and be aware of competitors for benchmarking purposes
- Ability to multi-task
- Professional, motivated, driven, flexible and enthusiastic
- Ability to innovate solutions and prioritise workload

Package Description
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday - Friday occasional weekends
- Times between 07:00-18:00
- £15.00 per hour
