Cafe Assistant for The Terrace Cafe at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh

Job Introduction

Heritage Portfolio are looking for a enthusiastic Café Assistant for The Terrace Café at Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh. Situated in the heart of the Garden with an outlook over Inverleith House Lawn, the Terrace is an exceptional place to relax and unwind.

The cafe is open 7 days a week, earliest start is 9.30am - 12 noon, finishing usually no later than 7.30pm. Uniform of T-shirt and apron will be provided.

For those working all day, meal and drink will be provided for their break.

Job responsibilities:

Team members will be rotated to work in various positions, these will include: Till operation, barista operator, table clearing, dishwasher, stock replenishing, general cleaning and tidying, table service.

The Ideal Candidate

-Experience as a front of house team member is preferred but not essential as full training and induction will be provided.

-Deliver a high standard of customer service
