Job Introduction

About the role 

At Sodexo our team is second to none and we’re looking for an CPU Stores and Distribution Operative to join our dedicated and friendly team at Merville Barracks, Colchester!

You’ll carry out regular stock checks as directed by your Line Manager, support in receipt of all deliveries into the CPU warehouse as well as assist with the break down and storage of all deliveries received.

You must have great communication skills as you’ll attend team briefs, huddles and meetings as required.

A few things about you  

If you have great attention to detail, a positive can-do attitude, excellent organisation skills, and you enjoy being part of a focused team then we would love to hear from you! 

The ideal candidate will have passion for people, hold CAT C licence with 2 years experience, basic knowledge of food safety as well as experience of food deliveries. You should also be a keen learner as there will be many development opportunities throughout your career within Sodexo!

Sodexo embeds a strong safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow alongside our Health & Safety practices so it is vital that you will champion this. Please also note that a basic DBS check will be required if your application will be successful.

  • 40 hours a week
  • £9.50 per hour!
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
