CMDB (Asset & Licence) Analyst

Job Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Analyst.

This role will be responsible for administering and executing the Configuration Management process, ensuring the integrity of data within the CMDB and contributing systems. As the subject matter expert in Configuration Management, you will support the process owner and IT Service Management team, strategically managing both physical and logical IT assets to ensure compliance with audit, security, and operational standards. The role involves planning and monitoring hardware assets across the organisation in line with internal governance and regulatory requirements, maintaining Configuration Items (CIs), and ensuring continuous health of the CMDB. A strong understanding of application functionality, maintenance, and infrastructure dependencies is key to maintaining accuracy.

You will lead the design and definition of software lifecycle policies and implement compliance frameworks across onboarding, usage, renewals, and decommissioning. Additionally, you'll manage the full software asset lifecycle—from procurement to retirement—while maintaining an accurate inventory using tools such as ServiceNow, and integrating data with systems like Coupa and SAP. Monitoring software usage for licensing compliance and building a comprehensive entitlement repository are also core to this role.

Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.
