CAFM Systems Co-ordinator
Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Sodexo, a leading global facilities management business. We provide a range of services to clients across the public and private sectors from healthcare and defence to education and corporate services. This role is to provide an efficient, effective and professional Systems Support service to the Sodexo Account Management team on the BAE Systems WPS Account.
Role Responsibility
This is a key role supporting a senior level interfacing directly with senior managers and clients in addition to exposure to confidential information which will require considerable use of judgement, discretion, tact and diplomacy. It’s an essential role in the team which will ensure the efficient operation of the Data Management systems for the BAE Systems Account. You will be involved in the day to day monitoring and management of CAFM data relating PPM and Reactive works for the IFM services, continuously developing, implementing and managing the use of our Computerised Management systems (Global Maximo) for the estate.
- Updating of any new assets and PPM changes
- Performance Monitoring of the system to include audits
- The collection and provision of data related to all estate maintenance operations
- Carrying out quality audits as requested by the Technical Services Manager
- To train operational teams in the CAFM systems including PDAs deployment
- To provide a confidential and efficient administration service to the appropriate area of the business, ensuring tasks are completed on time
- To lead or assist the organisation of meetings and events around the CAFM
- Use of IT systems to provide/monitor data within the Quality Assurance and other management reporting systems.
The Ideal Candidate
- Good sound knowledge and experience in Software or Firmware development and manipulation.
- Proficient with Microsoft office applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Visio).
- Proven experience within a similar role, working with an extremely busy team and with very high standards.
- Excellent numerical and verbal skills.
- Strong communication, organisational and administration skills, including editing skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Have worked in an environment where confidentiality is important.
- Articulate and thorough, showing attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Pro-active, demonstrating initiative and anticipates needs.
- Constantly raises the standard and quality of work, benchmarking against best practice.
