Business Director - Healthcare

Job Introduction

With the recent appointment of our new Healthcare UK&I CEO, and the continued growth and success it’s an exciting time to join the Sodexo Healthcare team. We’re looking for a highly capable Account Director to lead our established Queens Hospital operations, this is a total facilities management contract and experience within both hard and soft FM is essential.

As the Account Director you’ll be accountable for the operational management of our contracted services within the Queens Hospital, you’ll provide exceptional leadership and people management, ensure we continuously and effectively support to our clients operational needs while driving innovation and betterment through large scale projects.

You’ll be an established and collaborative operational TFM leader; you’ll be capable of establishing strong working relationships and providing compassionate and strategic direction. We’re looking for someone with a real passion for working in the Healthcare sector, who is able to realise a culture of innovation, prioritise our corporate social responsibility and continue to drive our ‘levelling’ up agenda whilst delivering further growth and success for the segment.

We’re currently looking for Business Operations Director’s across the UK&I, your role would be site based with adhoc travel to central Sodexo offices.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Provide guidance and clear direction to enable operational teams to deliver effective and efficient services, that meet contractual obligations, KPIs and agreed company policies and procedures
  • Take ownership for managing risk, governance and compliance to all legal, regulatory and company requirements and ensure robust health and safety procedures are in place and adhered to
  • Ensure that all financial performance targets are achieved within a framework of absolute financial control
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement, personal development, service excellence and zero harm, deliver against our corporate social responsibility (CSR) and service standards resulting in improved services and outcomes, increased sales and reduced costs
  • Work in partnership and manage clients proactively, ensuring their expectations are met, and effectively communicate all client needs and business opportunities within the division

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for people who have experience and a brilliant understanding of IFM contracts along with a passion for working in the Healthcare sector :

  • Business Management experience at a senior level, commercially and financially astute with exceptional people and leadership qualities
  • Proven experience of managing client relationships with the ability to influence key decision makers
  • Ability to manage operations against an agreed specification demonstrating strong P&L expertise, commercial acumen and core numeracy and accounting skills
  • Able to work under pressure with a high level of resilience, results focussed with excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of running a technical services team
  • Experience of delivery of an extensive technical services project portfolio
  • PFI commercial experience
  • Track record of delivering KPIs across a total FM contract
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
