About the role
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business growth and retention strategy in collaboration with the CEO.
  • Drive the delivery of profitable new business opportunities and the rebid of existing contracts to meet sales objectives.
  • Lead the Business Development Team, fostering a culture of success and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives for high-value contracts, focusing on venue partners and key stakeholders.
  • Utilise financial modelling, competitive analysis, and innovative proposals to secure and grow business profitably.
  • Champion the Clients for Life philosophy, ensuring ongoing relationships with venue partners and internal teams post-contract award.
  • Implement best practice sales methodologies and tools to optimise performance and results across the team.
 
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess extensive experience in senior business development or sales roles, particularly in the dynamic realms of sports, leisure, or live events, will be the cornerstone of our success. You will bring a wealth of knowledge and insight, finely attuned to the intricacies of our industry. Your expertise in F&B operations is complemented by proficiency in another vital area such as ticketing, hospitality, or venue management, positioning you as a versatile asset capable of navigating diverse challenges with ease.
 
Your illustrious career is defined by a proven track record of not just meeting but surpassing sales targets, your leadership instrumental in driving robust business growth. You've cultivated high-performing teams, guiding them towards collective triumphs while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Your financial acumen is unmatched, seamlessly managing budgets and leveraging sales performance metrics to inform strategic decision-making. Armed with advanced skills in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, you’ll effortlessly translate data into actionable insights, empowering our organization to adapt and thrive in an ever-evolving landscape. Your exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills serve as the linchpin of our endeavours, forging enduring partnerships and propelling us towards a future brimming with promise and possibility.
