You'll keep things running, we’ll fast-track your career as a Building Fabric Technician with Sodexo, we believe operational excellence starts with you, as your versatile skills contribute to the maintenance and continuous development of our prestigious client facilities.
Join our team and play a key role in delivering excellence and innovation in Hard FM and Technical Facilities Services.
As a Building Fabric Technician you'll:
- Carry out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance in line with service level agreements.
- Diagnose faults and repair assets within your technical capability.
- Undertake like-for-like asset replacements and minor new works as required.
- Complete dynamic risk assessments and ensure safe working practices at all times.
- Supervise specialist subcontractors when required.
- Use the company CMMS system to log, update, and close maintenance tasks.
- Support apprentices and promote a culture of safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
What we're looking for:
- NVQ Level 3 in building fabric discipline or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Strong practical engineering and maintenance skills, with knowledge of industry best practice.
- Experience in working with safe systems of work and health and safety standards.
- Competence in using Microsoft Office and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, colleagues, and apprentices.
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver work to deadlines.
