Biomedical Engineer - Medical Technician

Job Introduction


As a Biomedical Engineer with MTS you’ll be working as part of an experienced and supportive team who provide planned and remedial repair on a wide range of biomedical devices. Working closely with the Account Manager and Senior Biomedical Engineer your role is pivotal to ensuring that all KPI’s are achieved, and the highest standards are delivered.

You’ll mainly be based in Harlow but could be required to visit other sites to ensure we are supporting our customers and building successful working relationships with our subcontractors.

What you’ll do:
  • Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) on a wide range of medical devices.
  • Work to manufacturers specifications regarding their maintenance techniques.
  • Complete all administration work associated with planned and remedial repairs
  • Exceed KPI targets to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Always maintain safe working practices and comply with the Health and Safety policy.
  • Maintain stock levels of spare parts and maintain tools and test equipment appropriately.
  • Maintain service documentation in line with the OEM specifications
What you bring:
  • An engineering background ideally with experienced gained working within the biomedical field
  • Good organisation skills and a commitment to quality objectives and procedures
  • Able to work as a team to achieve KPI’s and review ways to improve service and productivity
  • Good communication skills and able to build successful customer relationships
