Weare seeking a dedicated Bid Writer to join our team and play a pivotal role inshaping our success. In this role, you will produce high quality, winning biddocuments that are not only easy to read and engaging but also tailoredspecifically to meet our clients’ unique needs. Your expertise will help usarticulate the benefits of the Sodexo proposition, demonstrating ourcapabilities and differentiators with evidence based, compelling narratives. What You'll Do:
- Create compelling, high scoring proposals that clearly demonstrate Sodexo’s solutions and benefits tailored to client needs, supporting contract retention and growth.
- Author and storyboard tender responses in line with scoring criteria and win strategies, ensuring alignment with client specific themes and Sodexo’s broader value propositions.
- Review, critique, and improve proposal content continuously by sourcing high quality internal and external information, and aligning with market best practices.
- Collaborate with the Bid Manager and Graphics team to ensure a cohesive, visually engaging presentation that highlights key messages through infographics, charts, and images.
- Adapt and refresh existing proposal materials to enhance quality and relevance, and work closely with the Business Development team to tailor bids for the Healthcare segment.
- Support client engagement activities such as site visits and internal meetings to deepen understanding of client needs, thereby enhancing proposal quality.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to ensure Sodexo’s tenders are market leading and demonstrate clear added value.
- Manage bid processes and ensure adherence to internal governance, sales protocols, and legal/commercial terms aligned with Sodexo’s principles.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in bid writing within the Facilities Management sector, ideally with a focus on healthcare.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to write from scratch and adapt tone and style to suit different audiences.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement and compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret complex information and translate it into compelling, client centric narratives.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and bid management tools.
