Bid & Mobilisation Project Manager

Job Introduction

We’re looking for talented individuals to join us as Bid & Mobilisation Project Managers and help us build on our success, as you define and deliver project plans for delivering major bids and deploying new contracts with values up to £10m.

Role Responsibility

This newly created role offers scope for you to support the rapid evolution of our bid and mobilisation process – and enjoy exposure to a range of industries and contracts in the process. Supporting bidding activity, you’ll thrive on the challenge of project managing the end-to-end process from bidding through solutioning, due diligence and mobilisation – all to cost, time and quality standards. As the conduit between business development, operational teams and our clients, part of your role as Bid & Mobilisation Project Manager will be to monitor the projects progress, resolve issues and maintain its integrity. Ensuring that governance is applied from day one, you’ll play a key part in developing the bid documentation. And then, once the bid is won, you’ll manage the process through to handover to our operations team.

The Ideal Candidate

As a Bid & Mobilisation Project Manager, you’ll have the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and credibility within the bid and mobilisation project environment. We also look for knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects, including risk management, budget and resource allocation processes. Naturally, problem solving skills and project management experience are essential too, as is knowledge of project management disciplines such as PRINCE2, MSP and APMP and MS Office and Project.
