Barista for Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh - Part Time

Job Introduction

Heritage Portfolio are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Barista to join their casual team at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. After the refurbishment of their two main sites in July 2021, their cafes are now destinations in their own right, set in the most beautiful of surroundings. They are much loved by their regulars for their location and for their tasty salads, soups, hot food and home baking. The emphasis is on fresh, delicious food prepared daily, using local and seasonal produce where possible, including from the Botanic’ s own kitchen garden. Everything produced in their kitchens are made from scratch.

Applicants must be available to work on weekends, 15-20 hours per week.

Standard shifts from 11am to 6:30pm, can be an earlier start as well.

Job responsibilities:

Preparing coffees, serving customers with a smile, serving food from hot food/deli counter, cleaning tables.

The Ideal Candidate

- Bar, café or restaurant experience preferred but not essential. All training will be provided onsite.

- An ability to work as part of team

- Help customers and someone who takes pride in their work
