Barista Supervisor

Job Introduction

At Sodexo we have and excellent opportunity to join a leading TV and Cinema producer as a Barista Supervisor in London – WC2H 8NU. In this role, you will be asked to perform a variety of managerial functions, demonstrate excellent leadership and have a strong customer focus.

As a supervisor, you will manage a team of up to 6 staff and drive the team forward to ensure its standards for quality and profitability are met and exceeded. This will involve ensuring that all food health and safety requirements are met. Your job may also require you to hire new staff, train them, and create schedules that reflect the dynamic needs of the restaurant.

What you’ll do: 

  • Time Management – Ensure that all client enquiries and catering deliveries are dealt with in timely fashion and all events are delivered to schedule.
  • Compliance – Comply with all Sodexo, NBCU and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, waste management, fire and COSHH. This will include awareness of any specific hazards in the workplace.
  • Self - Management – Ensure all resources are maximized over a potential 7-day week operation including evening events.
  • Control – Assist in ensuring labour ratios are met and wastage is kept to a minimum.
  • Standards – Ensure high standards of personal performance, hygiene, appearance, and cleanliness are always met.
  • Communication - Communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite efficient, caring, and friendly service to customers in all areas of the catering departments and to colleagues.

 What you bring: 

  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Management of team of up to 6 members of service staff
  • Good financial awareness
  • Sound basis of IT knowledge and usage
  • At least 2 years of frontline operational experience
  • At least 1 year of client liaison

Package Description

  • Barista Supervisor
  • Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm
  • 40 hours per week
  • £14.50 per hour + Sodexo Benefits
  • Overtime is paid at time and a half for weekly events up to 9:00pm
