Barista / Food Service Assistant

Job Introduction

As a Barista / Food Service Assistant at Sodexo in our trendy UA92 site, Old Trafford, Stretford, Manchester, you'll create tasty beverages, prepare dishes, and ensure all areas of the restaurant are kept clean and glistening. What you'll do:

• Provide 5* Customer Service
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, following all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Operate and maintain coffee making equipment
• To provide support in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
• Responsibility for delivering brand standards in, but not limited to cash management, opening the unit, preparing for the shift, closing the unit, orders, monitoring and delivering high standards of customer service, accepting deliveries.
• To undertake daily Health & Safety and Food Safety checks, reporting and actioning any issues as required

What you bring: 

• Great personality, positive attitude and ready to make a difference to your customers day
• Great communication skills, strong teamwork   
• Ability to use an espresso machine or willingness to learn barista service and food preparation
• Have a passion for working in a busy and fast paced environment whilst still delivering that 5* customer service with a smile
• Experience using a cash register, or equivalent preferred, however, not essential
• Passion for maintaining a healthy and safe environment
