Job Description:

As a Bar Steward member at Sodexo, located in Worthy Down Barracks, SO21 2RG. you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for our customers, particularly the armed forces personnel we serve. This role is all about making genuine connections and delivering excellent service to those who rely on us to enhance their daily experience. If you’re a friendly, approachable individual with great communication skills, you’ll thrive in this customer-facing role!

What You’ll Do:
  • Delivering cleaning services across the site, using appropriate equipment and materials.
  • Providing retail services including great customer service, cash handling, and merchandising.
  • Supporting ad-hoc services such as administration or office assistance when required.
  • Assisting with bar services as needed.
  • Maintaining excellent client and customer relationships by delivering a professional, friendly, and reliable service.
  • Following company policies, procedures, and site rules to ensure compliance at all times.
  • Carrying out any reasonable tasks or instructions as directed by management.
What You Bring:
  • Must be 18 or older due to licensing regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Confidence in following procedures and making decisions when needed.
  • Flexibility and resilience to adapt to changing demands.
  • Well-organised, with a proactive approach to tasks.
