Bar Person - Glasgow Airport

About the role

To make those memories last a little longer, we put dedication and passion into preparing fabulous drinks, and we are looking for a Bar Person to join us at Glasgow Airport. 

As one of our brilliant bartenders, you'll be responsible for creating refreshing, delicious and well-presented drinks. You'll ensure that our guests are served efficiently and receive an unforgettable experience!

You'll be a vital part of our team and you'll ensure that our bar is always fully stocked and glistening!

A few things about you
Your communication skills need to be strong, and your attention to detail second to none! This is a customer facing role, so it’s important to bring your friendly and positive attitude. Being a team player is key, after all, there is no “I” in team.

Experience working in a similar environment would be great, but generally customer service and beverage knowledge will tick the box! A willingness to learn and develop new skills, is a bonus too!

Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow alongside our hygiene and Health and Safety practises, so it is vital that you'll champion this. 

Role Responsibility

  • Welcoming guests, taking orders and serving beverages to guests
  • Care about customer satisfaction and deliver the optimal client service experience
  • Serving guests in a friendly, welcoming and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Help answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage choices and related items

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Being friendly yet professional
  • Being a team player with an ability to resolve conflict and take criticism
  • Good attention to detail and punctuality
  • Being proactive is key
  • Experience within a hospitality, catering or bar setting
