Here, your expertise in food & supply chain audit and compliance will be key in maintaining Sodexo’s high standards across the UK and Ireland. With your analytical mind and a keen eye for detail, you will drive forward initiatives that not only meet but exceed industry standards. Your work ensures that every meal served under the Sodexo name is a testament to our commitment to excellence.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop and manage a robust supplier safety performance monitoring programme, setting and overseeing KPIs.
  • Implement a comprehensive product testing plan for the UK&I, focusing on food safety and compliance with Sodexo standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Supply Management, Food Platform, and HSEQ teams on all food safety matters.
  • Manage external consultants and service providers for sampling and supplier auditing, ensuring quality and budget compliance.
  • Collaborate in category and product reviews to ensure vendor and product alignment with Sodexo's requirements.
  • Generate and follow through on audit reports and action plans, targeting compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Support the Lead Audit and Compliance Manager in refining and executing the compliance audit process.
 
What you bring:
  • Degree in Food Science/Safety or a related field.
  • Relevant food manufacturing qualifications and practical experience.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a good grasp of statistical interpretation.
  • Desirable: Food Safety Technical qualification (e.g., Lead auditor ISO9001, ISO20000, BRC, HACCP level 4).
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety legislation in the UK, Scotland, and Wales.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with proficiency in audit, investigation, and both written and verbal communication.
  • Competence in IT applications like MS Outlook, Excel, and Word; Full UK and Ireland driving licence.

Circa £45,000 DOE + Annual Bonus + Excellent Benefits Package
