Asset Strategy Manager

Job Introduction

As the Asset Strategy Manager you will work with all internal teams delivering asset management services to create a coordinated approach for service delivery on the client account.

The asset strategy manager is responsible for developing the asset management framework and system for a client and for influencing and developing the client’s approach that enables the client to get the best output of their M&E and Fabric assets of their estate, both tactically and strategically.

Role Responsibility

• Produce and present knowledge to the client of proposals with the aim of increasing the performance of the asset management system
• Improve asset performance, lowering operating cost and reducing risk.
• Ensure suppliers fulfil the duties of their contract and report accordingly
• Understand client drivers and business objectives
• Linking to the Asset Strategy Centre of Excellence, lead and facilitate the development of the asset management framework within the client organisation
•  
• Develop and manage the programme for implementing Asset management
• Act as the visionary, communicate principles and processes
• Create recommendations and business cases to improve the asset management system; processes, standards, data requirements, specific projects, and people roles, responsibilities, and capability
• Develop Asset Management products and processes as required and grow the team capability
• Provide regular reporting on activity

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

• Asset management related qualification or relevant demonstrable experience
• Understanding of M&E systems and terminology
• Technical understanding of asset management and applicable processes
• Leading significant change management programmes
• Experience within customer environments
• Ability to manage a wide range of internal and client stakeholders
• Drive and ambition

Desirable

• Knowledge of PAS 55 or ISO55000
• Experience of implementing an Asset Management approach or framework
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Member of a relevant professional organisation
• Programme management
• Data manipulation capability and analytical skills.
