Join the team at ORC Estates as an Asset Manager, a pivotal role embedded in the heart of one of Manchester's most prestigious healthcare environments. You’ll be at the forefront of technical service delivery, responsible for implementing the Local Asset Management Plan (LAMP) that supports our wider strategic estate objectives. This is a unique opportunity to bring leadership, innovation, and technical expertise to a 100+ building portfolio at the Oxford Road Campus.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver and manage the site-specific Local Asset Management Plan (LAMP) to support estate and healthcare operations.
- Maintain and improve the asset register to meet evolving data standards and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with capital project teams, lifecycle partners, compliance managers, and stakeholders to streamline asset integration and project handovers.
- Ensure accurate data migration and descoping of assets within the CMMS (Maximo) and Active Plan (PIM).
- Use analytical tools to create data-driven asset strategies and develop reports that influence key decision-making.
- Develop and document efficient SOPs, LOPs, and workflows aligned with best practices and industry standards.
- Train and support teams in asset management processes and the effective use of tools and systems.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts for asset data management, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in asset management within complex PFI and consortium environments.
- Prior HTM Authorised Person appointment and understanding of healthcare estates requirements.
- Strong understanding of CAFM/CMMS systems (especially Maximo) and project data models like Active Plan.
- Demonstrated success in leading change initiatives and driving cultural transformation.
- Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical thinking with attention to detail and a quality-driven mindset.
- High-level IT competency, including Excel, AutoCAD interpretation, and project software.
- Professional certifications (ISO 55001, asset management qualifications, or membership of a professional body) are a strong plus.
