About the role

Here at Sodexo, our talented Chefs use their passion to create beautiful dishes using the finest ingredients, whilst being sensitive to nutritional needs and environmental. Our teams are second to none and we are currently looking for Area Chef to overlook operations at our sites in Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

As our Area Chef you'll be preparing culinary masterpieces from the finest ingredients in the form of delightfully presented dishes. You'll be a vital part of our team supporting operations across multiple sites.

Our amazing chefs create fresh, vibrant meals for our people, and you’ll be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A few things about you 

With great organisation skills and a friendly approach you'll be cooking delicious dishes for our students and staff, whilst always ensuring your preparation areas and kitchen areas are glistening!

To keep things ticking along, you’ll bring your knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene, your level 2 NVQ chef qualification (or equivalent) and contagious smile!

It would be great if you had experience of working in a school environment but, don’t worry if not, as we would still love to hear from you!

To ensure smooth operations on our sites you will be required to hold valid drivers license and have access to vehicle. 

Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow so good knowledge of HACCP, COSHH procedures and Food Hygiene Regulation is vital.

• 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days rotation
