We are looking to recruit a Catering Manager to oversee the catering and hospitality function across 18 sites in the Midlands.

As the Catering Manager, you'll plan, organise and coordinate all catering activity, ensuring to lead the team to deliver service excellence. You'll provide leadership and clear direction to your team, ensuring they are motivated and engaged, and that they understand how their contribution impacts on the business. You will provide support across the site when required, including the management of functions and team development.

To be truly successful in the role, you will have multi site experience, strong leadership and team management skills, be self-motivated and enthusiastic.

Role Responsibility

• Ensure the contract is being delivered in a profitable way and manage costs for the client and  Sodexo
• To ensure that the preparation, presentation and service are carried out to comply with company standards
• Ensure all necessary food supplies, and related items are supplied.
• To provide an efficient, caring and friendly service to customers in all areas of the catering department
• To ensure always that Company, and statutory regulations of hygiene and safety are adhered to by all members of staff

The Ideal Candidate

• 706/2 or NVQ2 chef qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience of operating in a similar environment or ready to take the step up with the right development offered by the team.
• People management experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to Manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities

Package Description

Salary - £25,900 - £28,700
