Apprentice Learning & Development Practitioner
Job Introduction
As an Apprentice Learning & Development Practitioner at Sodexo Stoke Mandeville Hospital, you are also a motivated and committed team player, with the potential to make a significant impact on the learning and development journey of our employees. In this role, you will support the delivery of all learning and development activity for employees on site whilst studying to achieve your Level 3 qualification.
Role Responsibility
What you’ll do:
- Deliver monthly training sessions on site induction, health and safety, and food safety to Sodexo employees
- Ensure all learning delivery adheres to Sodexo policy and drives statutory and mandatory curriculum
- Support job-related training where necessary, and accurately record all training completion
- Monitor monthly compliance figures and establish and maintain good working relationships with the site team and L&D team
- Attend meetings, support departmental projects, and contribute to discussions on sharing best practice to improve site performance
- Manage own continued professional development and drive learning and development in others
The Ideal Candidate
What you'll bring:
- Previous experience of delivering training and motivating others in a customer focussed environment
- A keen interest in developing a career within L&D and supporting others to achieve their full potential
- Excellent communication skills and able to build successful working relationships across all levels of an organisation
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
- A commitment to achieving a Level 3 qualification as an L&D Practitioner which includes functional skills in Maths and English
- Proficient in MS Office applications
